It is their duty and they take it seriously !

They use all types of venues and established channels of communication such as state fairs, newspapers, news stories etc.

Wouldn’t it be a kick to go to the fair and all of a sudden find out that you had $5000.00 waiting for you to collect?

I think it would be awesome.

How many deep fried Oreos could that buy?  I am really just kidding about that, but the fact that state governments set up booths at state fairs to give back unclaimed money is true.

For instance in New York this year at the UppleUmpkin Festival on Sept. 25-26 New Yorkers can easily discover iof they have any $$$ coming back to them. The state employees will be there from 9  to 5.

I suggest checking your local papers as well.
